Helping organizations improve well‑being outcomes by identifying and removing the operational barriers that limit performance.

About

Meet Noelle McIntyre, the Operational Wellness Strategist

Helping organizations strengthen well‑being outcomes through structural clarity and system‑level insight.

For more than 20 years, I've worked at the intersection of employee well‑being, population health, behavior change, and organizational systems.

Across healthcare, higher education, and large‑scale coaching organizations, I've seen a consistent pattern: companies invest heavily in wellness programs, incentives, technology platforms, and engagement initiatives — yet participation stays low, and outcomes fall short.

The issue is rarely the program. More often, the challenge lies within the operational systems surrounding it.

Employees encounter unnecessary friction, competing priorities, unclear communication, duplicated processes, and administrative barriers that make participation difficult. Over time, these hidden obstacles reduce engagement, increase burnout, and limit return on investment.

Today, my work focuses on helping organizations identify and remove those barriers.

As an Operational Wellness Consultant, I conduct independent assessments of wellness ecosystems to uncover inefficiencies, workflow breakdowns, adoption barriers, and structural issues that prevent programs from achieving their intended outcomes.

Rather than managing programs or providing ongoing implementation support, I deliver strategic clarity.

My role is to evaluate the system, identify what is and isn't working, and provide leadership teams with a practical roadmap for improvement.

Background

My professional experience spans healthcare, higher education, and large‑scale coaching organizations. I've supported organizations including Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Noom, Acentra Health, and multiple university systems — giving me firsthand insight into the operational challenges that shape employee well‑being, engagement, and program effectiveness.

I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) and am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). My background includes designing wellness strategies, leading behavior‑change initiatives, supporting population health programs, and developing operational systems that strengthen both employee experience and organizational performance.

My Approach

I believe wellness outcomes are shaped by operational design, not motivation.

When communication is clear, workflows are efficient, administrative burden is reduced, and systems align with employee needs, engagement improves naturally.

My approach combines systems thinking, operational analysis, and well‑being expertise to help organizations create environments where healthier outcomes become easier to achieve where healthier outcomes become easier to achieve.

Philosophy

Wellness isn't a motivation problem — it's a systems problem.

When organizations improve the processes, workflows, and structures that influence daily behavior, employee well‑being becomes more sustainable, measurable, and impactful.
